Hello there, I'm Ana
Project manager. Parent. Expat living in Lisbon, Portugal.
Several years back I moved here with my family. What began as a short-term assignment gradually became a new chapter of life overseas.
How It Started
Moving to Portugal wasn't part of our long-range plan. As with many expat relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more substantial.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Everyday chores seemed harder than they needed to be.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, ambiguity, and plenty of learning on the job. Yet gradually, routines emerged. We found places that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt secure.
Why I Built Clear Field Span
Most information on the web was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was missing was a genuine, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that void — practical advice drawn from real life in Portugal.
What This Site Is (And Isn't)
This site is:
- Hands-on insights from living in Portugal
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever something truly changes
This site isn't:
- Not an official tourism authority resource
- Not a paid-review platform
- Not a generic travel blog
Looking Ahead
Our time in Portugal continues, and the learning journey goes on as well. As long as the information remains useful, I’ll keep documenting what we discover.
If you have questions about family life in Lisbon or anywhere in Portugal, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Ana
